first_img 2 Thibaut Courtois has suggested he is preparing to leave Chelsea this summer.The goalkeeper, currently playing for Belgium at the World Cup, confirmed he will make a decision on his future after the tournament. 2center_img He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, though the Spanish club are understood to be targeting Alisson as the man to replace Keylor Navas.“I have a certain preferred destination,” the 26-year-old said recently.“I have some ideas in my mind, but I’m focusing on the World Cup and have pushed all decisions ahead until after the tournament.”Courtois’ contract expires in 2019 and has been unable to agree on a new deal so far, though it appears his decision will be based on personal reasons rather than financial.The goalkeeper lived in Madrid between 2011 and 2014 when he was on loan at Atletico Madrid and his children live in the Spanish capital with their mother. Earlier this year he explained his heart was still in the city, a point he reiterated again.“My kids are the most important for me. I haven’t seen them a lot in the last 18 months. Facetime is nice, but seeing them grow up is something different.
