It is estimated to cost 4.2 billion Norwegian kroner, according to an Oct. 12 company new release.Once online, the project is expected to produce 2.3 TWh of renewable energy yearly, enough to cover the power demand of 1.17 million homes.Statkraft said it will be its largest wind project in South America and will more than double its renewable energy capacity in Brazil.Construction of Ventos de Santa Eugenia is scheduled to begin in January 2021, with a target completion date in June 2023.
