Walsh in wars at Roscommon

first_img Press Association Ruby Walsh was stood down at Roscommon on Tuesday evening after he suffered a soft-tissue injury to an arm in the second race on the card. Walsh’s mount, the Tony Martin-trained Gardelito, came to grief at the final flight in the Family Day August 19th Maiden Hurdle, which was won by Davy Condon on Thomond. Weighing-room colleague Robbie Power also missed most of the fixture after sustaining a foot injury when he fell from Jessie Harrington’s Sin Miedo at the second in the opening Railway Bar 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle, which went to Mick Darcy on Seeyouallincoppers. last_img read more
